The Mississippi Dachshund Club was formed in 2001 in order to raise awareness of the dachshund breed in the region, and to provide dachshund enthusiasts with more opportunities to showcase their dachshunds in various events.   In addition, we wish to provide an opportunity for dachshund lovers in general to get together and share their love for all dachshunds, not just those competing in events.   The Mississippi Dachshund Club encourages ethical conduct by dachshund owners, and promotes responsible breeding of the dachshund breed.
